Deciding how to randomize students in a class is not that easy! All students want to do is hang with their friends, and that's not good for students as they don't interact with any new colleagues.

Don't worry, Eco Tag is here to help!
Just get students to download Eco Tag (it's free!), print out these augmented reality tags (https://arludo.com/tags/ecotag.pdf), give each student one tag and let the students figure it out!

Students will need to scan their own tag to find out which ecosystem they're in and will then need to find the students that belong in their ecosystem.

It's a fun way for students to break the ice and create a group if they've never met. Along with having fun and meeting their classmates, students also learn about ecosystems and how different organisms interact.

By using all the tags, you can accommodate a class of 30 students and put them in a group of 6 students each (that's five groups!) Need more? Then print out some more tags and add some doubles.

Want a group of 3? Then let them find their group of 6 and ask students to group themselves by producers and consumers.

Want a group of four? Hand out four tags from each ecosystem and then ask students to guess which organisms are missing and see if they can find their matches in the leftover tags.
